As an association of concerned parents and friends, we are specifically concerned with adolescents and adults who have both an intellectual disability, and mental health needs. There is a lack of services for these individuals in Toronto. Our role has been to lobby government for specialized services, and to inform and support parents and friends of these adults. We meet on a monthly basis at the J.D. Griffin Adolescent Centre (located at 24 Silverview Dr., Willowdale) every second Wednesday evening of the month.
